I am posting this for those that would like to learn about options that can be restricted (or unrestricted) from an Office 2007 installation. First a little background. After installing Outlook 2007 I realized that I could not use RSS. I would get a message stating something to the affect that "You cannot use RSS. Your system administrator has turned off the feature." To me it sounded a bit like the Office Policy Templates that I had heard about. Turns out this was not the case. Big Brother really didn't seem to care. What was really happening here is that my registry needed a bit of adjusting. Thanks to Jose Barreto's experience with something similar I was able to deduce that I needed to tweak HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\RSS\Disable = 0 from 1. Thanks Jose!
