Clear Context IMS Pro 4. As close to perfect as it gets!

It's no secret, I have been a fan for a long time.  Clear context has saved me countless hours on managing my inbox.  Now they have gone and one upped themselves (actually may two or three upped ;-)).  For those of you who are not familiar with Clear Context, it is a 'full featured information management system'.  As an add-in to Outlook, it helps in situations when you are bombarded by emails.

How does it do this?  It quickly allows you to identify what is important, manage messages that come in, quickly act on what is important and defer what is not.  With a newly streamlined toolbar, you can now easily assign topics, create tasks, and schedule appointments.

Another one of the coolest new features include the ability to automatically mark an item as read while it is filed away.  This was always an annoyance to me since a lot of times I would read the message in the preview pane and it would never get marked as read.

Ever get distracted by email messages coming into your inbox?  Just turn on the new Do Not Disturb feature.  It lets you turn off Outlook's new message functionality for a certain time frame.  If you are like me I am a bit like Pavlov's dog when it comes to seeing a new message so I am looking forward to really taking advantage of it.

Lastly, the coolest feature I am excited about is the new Dashboard view.  It is kind of like the over priced Franklin Covey plug-in but it is really part of IMS.  How freakin' cool!

Here is a pic from their site:

You can see that given any Project (or all) you can see all the tasks and messages in one concise place.  This will go far to help me get ready for each day as I work on getting organized for it.
